We'll Always Have Summer, the third book in Jenny Han's Summer I Turned Pretty series, follows Isabel "Belly" Conklin as she navigates the complexities of love and growing up. After the emotional rollercoaster of the previous two summers, Belly is now in a relationship with Jeremiah Fisher, Conrad’s younger brother, and things seem to be going well. However, the past is never far behind, and Belly still has lingering feelings for Conrad, the boy she’s always loved.

The novel explores Belly’s struggles as she approaches the next phase of her life, facing decisions about her future and the relationships she holds dear. As she plans for college, the tension between her, Jeremiah, and Conrad continues to simmer, and old wounds resurface. Belly’s relationship with Jeremiah is tested, while her unresolved feelings for Conrad complicate matters even more.

As the summer draws to a close, Belly must confront the difficult decisions about her heart and her future, realizing that some things will never be the same. We'll Always Have Summer brings the trilogy to an emotional conclusion, as Belly learns to navigate love, loss, and the changes that come with growing up, while finally discovering where her heart truly belongs. The story reflects on the bittersweet nature of life’s transitions, and the people and moments that shape us forever.
